i really, really love la la land and it’s a film that means a lot to me because it reminds me of old hollywood movies which have always been a comfort to me and. i’m just very happy to see it doing well.

honestly, it’s been a really great year for films though. moonlight is spectacular as well. i mean, honestly. i truly believe they’re two films that will go down in history books for what they’ve both done. la la land for young dreamers and creatives and for bringing the old hollywood version of a movie musical back to life and moonlight for the spectacular performances and way it tackles race and masculinity.

ugh it’s been a fucking brilliant year for film. i’m happy.
